    Dr. Parthsarthi Chauhan

    Dr. Parthsarthi Chauhan is a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Mumbai with over 14 years of experience in medical practice, with extensive exposure to the diagnosis and management of complex disorders of the brain, spine and cerebrovascular system. He currently serves as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Vikhroli, Mulund, Bhandup where he provides comprehensive neurosurgical care ranging from routine neurological and spinal conditions to complex cranial and vascular pathologies.

    Dr. Chauhan completed his M.Ch in Neurosurgery from Bombay Hospital and Institute of Medical Research, Mumbai, one of the country’s established centres for advanced neurosurgical training. During his training, he had the opportunity to work under eminent neurosurgeons including Dr. C. E. Deopujari, Dr. Suneel Shah and Dr. Keki Turel, gaining extensive exposure to a broad spectrum of cranial, spinal, skull-base and vascular neurosurgical procedures.

    Following completion of his M.Ch, he continued at Bombay Hospital for two years as a Clinical Associate, further strengthening his experience in the evaluation and surgical management of complex neurological disorders.

    This period provided him with significant clinical and operative exposure across diverse neurosurgical conditions and helped develop a meticulous, patient-focused approach to surgical decision-making.

    With a special interest in vascular and cerebrovascular neurosurgery, Dr. Chauhan subsequently pursued advanced training in Endovascular and Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery at Fujita University, Japan, under the guidance of internationally renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Yoko Kato. This international training provided him with further exposure to contemporary approaches in the treatment of complex cerebrovascular disorders and advanced neuro-vascular techniques.

    His clinical expertise encompasses a broad range of brain and spine surgeries, including brain tumour surgery, craniotomies, cranioplasties, neuro-oncology, neuroendoscopy, endoscopic brain surgery, skull-base surgery, spinal tumour surgery and surgery for degenerative spinal disorders.

    Dr. Chauhan has a particular interest in cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery, including the evaluation and management of brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), vascular malformations, intracranial haemorrhage and other complex neuro-vascular conditions. His training allows him to evaluate cerebrovascular disorders from both microsurgical and endovascular perspectives, helping determine the most appropriate treatment strategy for each individual patient.
